What we do

Organization of consultative medical and social assistance for the affected Belarusians

Those who wish to contact us for advice should contact us via the feedback form (or by e-mail) with a brief description of their problem. We will contact you and agree on the form of the consultation. This can be done either with a pre-arranged visit to our reception, or by organizing an online consultation.

If our professional competence is not enough, we have the opportunity to request the advice of highly qualified specialists who have agreed to cooperate with us in order to conduct an online consultation.

We will additionally help you in explaining the recommendations of these specialists, and we will recommend medical and social institutions to solve your problems.

Educational work

We will hold regular presentations by our employees or invited specialists on topical issues of biology and medicine.

During meetings or online broadcasts, you will be able to ask questions about organizing a healthy lifestyle,preserving or restoring the environment, and hear a competent opinion on controversial theories in the field of medicine.

We plan regular classes on the most popular health-improving methods (meditation, autogenic training, point self-massage, etc.).

Registration for classes is carried out by e-mail.

Human rights activities in the field of patients rights

Patient rights are a very broad topic, but almost not discussed in our country.

We will deal with the problems of observing the rights of the patient, the right to health protection in Belarus.

At the start of our activity, we plan to focus on the problems of observing the right to health in places of incarceration in Belarus, primarily in institutions for the detention of administratively arrested citizens, as well as in the penitentiary system of Belarus.

Psychological and correctional assistance for affected adults and children

The "Center of Psychological Assistance for Belarusians" has started working in Vilnius.

Our goal is to provide psycho-correctional assistance for families who were forced to leave Belarus for political reasons, as well as to provide assistance for all Belarusians in need.

Areas of work:
- correctional assistance in a crisis situation (after detentions, torture, beatings);
- assistance in interpersonal relations between family members;
- diagnostic and correctional assistance to children, including those with developmental disabilities (children with the autistic spectrum, children with neurological diseases, as well as other features of mental and physical health);
- defectological assistance for children.

OUR MISSION

We strive to unite people in order to create conditions for the disclosure and strengthening of human potential, jointly achieve justice, respect for the dignity of every member of society without exception, equality before the law and ensuring rights and freedoms for every person.

CREATION STORY

The initiative to create a public institution “Doctors for Truth and Justice" belongs to medical workers who were forced to leave Belarus in connection with the repression against civil activists after the 2020 presidential elections.

The “Doctors for Truth and Justice" PI
was registered in Vilnius on July 12, 2021.
